Our Process
How Laundry Splashback Works with ASA Tiling

Call or send an enquiry with a few photos and rough sizes.

Site visit to measure up, check the substrate and talk through tiles and finishes.
- 03
Written quote with the scope, materials and a start date.
- 04
Preparation: strip-out, screeding, waterproofing or repairs as required.
- 05
Installation by the ASA Tiling team, with the site tidied at the end of each day.
- 06
Final inspection, clean-up and hand-over.
Does a laundry need waterproofing?
Laundry floors and the walls around troughs and washing machines are wet areas under the Australian Standard, so we waterproof them before tiling.
How long does a laundry splashback take?
A splashback alone is usually done in one to two days including grouting. A full laundry renovation with floor tiling, plumbing and electrical takes around one to two weeks.
Can the laundry splashback match my kitchen?
Yes. Many customers carry the kitchen tile or a complementary colour through to the laundry for a consistent look.
